Left after ten minutes thankfully

I stopped by Mr Happy's after making an investigatory run to a bar right around the corner that was simply awful. There were no models hanging out at the bar that is named "Models Hangout" and bills itself as the place were "aspiring models hangout." So I left and stopped by Mr. Happy's since I was in the neighborhood. I invoked my "ten minute rule," which is if I am not entranced by a stripper in a strip joint within ten minutes, I leave.

I like this rule because I have found that in 99% of cases, if I violate my ten minute rule, I regret it. Strip joints are expensive and boring places to hang out unless you get yourself involved with a stripper.

Mr. Happy's is going through some modest exterior renovations. I passed through the entrance (currently under construction), and entered the same bar that has been there for decades. Down the ramp into the stage and bar area, I went. It was a Sunday afternoon, and there were about five dancers. A moderately attentive bartender served me my beer quickly. Of the dancer crew, there were only two whom I thought were above fours. Both were engaged in deep conversation with other patrons (neither of whom seemed to be spending any money on them). A dancer came up to me to give things a shot, but while relatively young, she was not good looking and was not sporting anything positive in the body category. She wasn't chunky at all, but by no means "fit."
