Mmmm, No.

After the Gold Club, I stopped by The Carousel Lounge, which was a short distance away and on the way back to my hotel in downtown Columbus. This is another small, black dive club, but obviously nowhere near as popular as the Gold Club.

The parking lot was mostly empty when I pulled in about 1:00 a.m. There was a beefy bouncer by the door, but he didn’t charge me a cover. An older Korean lady behind the bar sold me a beer for $3.50.

There is a pool table to the right as you enter, a small satellite stage that looked like someone slapped together with 2X4s as a shop project, and the main stage to the rear. The whole place looks run down and dingy. Besides me, there was only one other guy in the building, a black dude playing pool with one of the strippers.
