Friday Afternoon Lunch and Dessert

Walked into Dirty's just before 5PM to catch a little entertainment and the $5 lunch special. The lunch special goes from 12 - 5 with a choice of steak and fries or cheeseburger with fries and a 12oz cold draft beer. The parking lot was full but I was surprised when I walked inside because plenty of seats were available, the bar was full though. I think that the doorman recognized me because there was no question about having weapons and I have never been patted down or had my ID scanned, I always go during the afternoon. No cover charge during the afternoon.

The layout hasn't changed since my last visit. To the right is a nice bar with about 10 stools, across from the bar is about 5 high tables with stools, further back is the restrooms, ATM and the VIP area. The VIP area is used infrequently. To the left from the entrance is a DJ booth and the only stage. The main seating area is off to stage left which is not ideal because their are two structural poles near the front of the stage that partially blocks your view of the dancer. In front of the stage is a huge love seat where I mostly only see some dancers relaxing their between dances. There are seats all along the stage edge but never see anyone sitting there. Past the main seating area is an outside patio with bar and pool tables. It's too hot now and the pool tables are covered and the bar is empty. The restroom are devoid of a troll but not the best, have seen mosquitoes in there each time. The atmosphere is like Hispanic urban if that's a term.

If I understand the pricing correctly, $10 at your table, $10 at the chairs by the wall, $20 at the love seats by the wall, VIP is $30 or 4 for $100. The dancers range from 2 to 8, mostly Hispanic, some Caucasian and African American and soon to be no Asian. The hottest one in the place is the Asian bartender, don't believe that she ever dances, doesn't that seem to be true in many clubs. The dances are more like HiLiter than HiLiter is now. I have never had a bad dance here, I can recommend Mia and Iris for sure and they seem to be there on weekday afternoons. My favorite is an Eurasian named Crowley who only dances on Th/F/Sa afternoons and told me today that it might be her last day because the money is not great here for dancers. I said that I was surprised by the number of PLs because the parking lot was almost full and she said "Parking lot lies." Anyway, she is transient and was leaving at the end of the month, I will miss her, one of the main reasons that I have been coming here instead of HiLiter.
