Swing and a Miss...

It had been a while since I had visited Skippers (almost four years) and now I remember why. I decided to stop in after a rough day at work on Friday night. Got there a little after 10pm and there were only a few cars in the lot. Walked in and got a water from the bartender for $2. I saw four dancers, one Black and the rest White. They seemed to be busy with their regulars and rarely moved away from them. One of the girls was giving a guy a neck massage. I waited for about ninety minutes and watched the soccer game waiting on someone to head to the stage; no one did. A few of the girls went back for dances with regulars for some lap dances, which are still $10 per song. After they were done they went to the dressing room for a long stay. I decided to cut my losses at only the cost of the water and left. Maybe I'll try again to see if there is different talent. But I wouldn't be surprised if it took me another four years to find my way back.
