Late Saturday night drunken Trip from South Beach

I was staying in South Beach on business. Was at a hotel on Collins and decided to go have a little fun. Normally when im in Miami, i will go to Tootsies but today I wanted a different experience. I have been to this club before but it was 3 years ago and honestly it was a poor experience: It was about 2 am on a Thursday night. Someone pulled the fire alarm in the club about 5 minutes after we entered and the club was evacuated and all the dancers went home. It was almost like someone did it as an excuse to leave work.

Anyway, took a lyft to the club. It cost about $14 with tip from Miami beach. I didnt feel like the neighborhood was unsafe but as soon as i got out the car, i saw a guard with two holstered guns. That being said, i dont think it was the neighborhood but the crowd. Upon entry the hostess pointed to a sign that said $25 cover. She gave change and then another guard made me empty the pockets, the did metal detector and pat down.

Now to the club. I will start with the bad and finish with the good.
