It's been a while ...

It had been about 5 years since I'd been to Class Act. Five years ago, there were a number of things about the club that turned me off and I ended up avoiding it. Last week, I decided to stop back by and see if anything had changed in the last five years. I ended up going twice over the last week; both visits were remarkably similar, so I'll provide the highlights of the visits in a single entry.

Paid the $8 cover at the door. Upon walking in, I noticed that some remodeling and clean-up had been done since last I visited. Overall, it's a clean, decent looking club; nothing too fancy, but very nice. The music was your standard too-loud hip-hop. Both nights it was absolutely freezing in the bar … like meat-locker cold.
