Space Invaders

As another member mentioned, there hasn’t been much new talent lately. And lots the talent is starting to show wear and tear. Although some of the dancers who have left were drama central.

When I got to my seat, I took a quick assessment of who was working. Three girls, all reliable. One was on stage when I walked in. There were two other girls, heard mixed reviews. One was parked in the back with a customer and appeared just to be talking.

It’s been pretty rare for me to, after paying the cover charge and getting my $10 beverage, leave the club without an experience. Maybe I’ve done it twice. A long long time ago at the New Players Club down in Lakewood. And then once at Dreamgirls at Rick’s. This was almost the third. I debated if I should cut my losses and head over to another club.

One dancer came by. The other one I had heard mixed reviews of.

She mentioned that she has seen me before but had it ever dance for me. I thought to myself “she better make a great sales pitch and that will soon change.” But that did not happen. I told her he would come back later. For a good percentage of dancers this resulted in them never coming back.
