Surprisingly Great Trip

I've long been an apologist for Club Fantasies, although they have made it really hard to do so over the years. The place is often dead or inhabited by girls that have very zombie-like qualities; there are too many girls that are somewhere between robotic and purely transactional, neither of which does anything for me. When I only had time to go here after a disappointing stop by Desire (cookie cutter disappointment; hot chicks that were all accounted for), I thought my afternoon was shot when I skipped over to the blue palace.

The club still looks pretty good; they've kept up the renovations and the lap dance area is much more private. Historically, lap dances here were a terrible rip-off; $30 / song just made no sense when for $120-$140 you could have fifteen minutes of total privacy in the VIP. Of course, I made a practice of blowing $30-60 on a girl to get a lap dance first, as a "test drive" to see if she was worth the larger investment. This trip changed my perspective entirely!

Sitting at the left bar as you enter the bizarre, almost-symmetric main room, I had to wait for a long time for a cheap Bud Light ($5-ish). Bartender was super nice, but stretched too thin considering a lot of patrons were in to beat the heat. Since time was a factor, I decided to get pro-active and approach a lovely tall black girl who was on stage. She was nearly alone, and was appreciative of my attention, compliments, and tips (in no particular order). I -think- her name was Des, and told her I'd like to chat when she was done her set.
