It will always be the Cherry to me

The Wild Cherry is now Scores Alabama. Famous name but the same old club. Went on a Wednesday afternoon around 4pm. There might have been a cover, $5 I think, but the girl at the door was no where to be seen so I walked in. I have always liked the cherry, there are always one or two legitimately hot girls dancing, but I have never there that early.

The club is wide open with bar on the right side, one big stage in middle with smaller on behind it, and then seats on the left and against the wall. There were 4 or 5 girls working but a couple were on their phones. There appeared to be a few cars in the parking lot but the club only had a few more customers than dancers. This would normally suck bc with fewer costumers girls can be pushy but I was only approached by a couple of women that I had tipped while they were on stage. Best thing about the Cherry is their beer selection, they carry a couple of local beers now, and bartender was probably the cutest girl in the building. The worst thing about the Cherry, at least this time, was the music. I don’t think the girls get to pick their own songs. I’m a fan of hip hop and r&b, but I’d listen to just about anything made in the last decade. They played a ton of country and hair band rock. Not my favorite. There was a young black dancer dancing to Garth Brooks, I’m pretty sure that wasn’t her choice. I know the owners want to create a particular vibe and court a particular clientele but the girls should have some say, they’re trying to make money out there.
