Very, Very Different than Before the Fire

Had not been here since prior to the fire from a few years back. For those who remember (and also those that don't), formerly, after paying cover, you walked down the corridor and had a choice to head left or right. If you headed left took you to the "main" entertainment area, where the main stage was surrounded by a large seating area surrounding the stage. The main bar was also located in this part of the club. If you headed right, there was a secondary bar with a fairly comfortable multi-level seating area. It was a nice place to chill, watch some football while having a drink, and meet/socialize with a dancer in a quiet location, or simply have a beer and watch some football. Past the bar was the private dance room. Since the club was so roomy, typically it had a fairly generous dancer census, with lots of variety.

Fast foward to present day. I paid the $7 cover. There is no option to "go left". The whole club resides on the right, with the former "secondary" bar being the only bar. In the "comfortable multi-level" seating area that formerly graced this area, now a dance stage sits in the lower level, and the patrons are crammed tight on the upper level. Because it is such a tight space, not as many dancers are there on a given night, and certainly less variety. Probably saw about 12-15 dancers, none really inspiring me to try them out for a spin. Several AA, lots of heavily tatted white girls, no one with the front court to make me want to indulge.

I'm glad I went by for a look. But this place is just a shadow of its former self, and I cannot imagine I will return unless reports turn extremely positive.
