Not my night

Got to The House at 930p on a Tuesday in search of one of the rarest of all experiences — the DC lapdance with contact. My mission was successful but a letdown. Here’s why...

First, some preliminaries: the club is in a not great area of DC. It’s not horrible, but be smart. I found parking off Georgia Ave maybe half a block away and was fine but vigilant as I walked to and from the club. Based on other reviews I was (mistakenly?) not expecting the $20 cover on a Tuesday, but paid it and entered without an ID check after a quick pat down.

The club is nice inside, wood floors and three stages with comfortable sofas around the stages. If you want to sit back from the stages, some of the chairs are the uncomfortable metal banquet hall type. I was probably a bit overdressed because my T-shirt had a collar.
