More like a Buick than a Caddy

Based on my sporadic evening visits to Cadillac Lounge over the last few months, including this past Saturday night, I'd grade this joint as somewhere around a B-. Here's what I like about this place... and what I'm not so hot on.

But before I start, a few basics... and a warning that some of you may find this review to be a bit too brutally honest. So if you're looking for something short-n-sweet or politically correct, you may want to skip this one! Anyway, starting with the basic deets...

All patrons must be 21+ to enter. Mercifully they have stopped scanning ID's. However occasionally they'll ask to at least visually see some form of ID. On this last visit some dude in front of me in the admission line who didn't speak any English tried to use his EBT card as an ID to get in. After 5 minutes of animated arguing in Spanish (and holding up the fucking line) they finally relentted and let this dude in. The cover at night is $15 until 11, then $20 thereafter. They wand you over and no hoodies can be worn, but there is a coat check and hats, shorts and those gangsta style jeans where your ass is hanging out are all allowed. The club closes at 2 am on Friday and Saturday nights with last admission an hour before at 1, and closing time is 1 am on all other nights including Thursdays.
