A random Thursday at Centerfolds

I have been to Gold Club in SF a few times. Ever since the rules (employee/contractor) changed here, the experience there has been sub-par. The girls tend to be pushy and they generally don’t seem to care much for the patrons – this was my experience and don’t mean to generalize it. Decided to give Centerfolds a shot and it turned out to be a great experience. The entry was a bit intimidating as the bouncer scans your id and lets you in after taking a picture – not quite sure if this necessary as this doesn’t seem to be customary to other clubs here.

The place is well setup and the only downside of it being a full-nude club is they serve no alcohol. A few beers certainly help in getting the conversation going with the dancers. I took advantage of visiting the club during 6 – 8 pm (no cover!) and was quite surprised with the number and quality of dancers on a random Thursday. The girls were not very pushy to get dances. There was one that looked quite interesting and after exchanging a few glances she stopped by to speak. She was a nurse in a trauma center and had quite the stories to share and I was ready to get a dance with her.

The club has a price card for their dances and while the numbers are a bit wacky, they club tends to offer 2 for 1 at regular intervals. With the 2 for 1, the prices look a lot reasonable. For $40, you get 2 songs in a private area. I usually suggest to start the dance when a new song starts but this girl was nice enough and suggested we wait until the next song started. I tend to respectful of their boundaries and with her permission there was a decent amount of contact and it was quite an experience. I believe some patrons negotiate what is allowed vs not beforehand but I am fairly new to this game and trying to learn along the way. At the end she mentioned about the Monday specials, which I haven’t done but at some point in the future.
