interesting but dingy space, bad talent ratio
The club itself is interesting. It seems like it was decorated in the early 1900s. In some ways this is interesting. It's not a glossy garishly lighted space. In some ways it's gross. It looks like it hasn't been renovated since the mid-1900s.
I was amazed how many women were working there — maybe two dozen, mostly Romanian. Unfortunately the quality to quantity ratio was very off. They practically rub it in your face because this is one of those old style clubs where every attendee is required to put a pound coin in a pint jug for every single entertainer who gets up for a three song set. Unfortunately most of them were entertainers I would have paid to not entertain us.
That said I did find a dancer I was quite pleased with and the dances are a good value. They take place in a semi-private area behind the main club. And the competition was so fierce that you'll probably have several dancers walking up to you and giving you a squeeze to size you up and tempt you to buy a dance as soon as you walk in the door. Recommended with reservations.
