Lucky Devil continues to be a Portland classic
My girl and I stopped here for about 40 mins. on the way to the airport on a recent Sunday, around 1pm. There were only three dancers working and it was a typical experience here - red lights giving off an old-school vibe, $2 jello shots (so awesome), and an amazingly delicious bloody Mary with a heavy pour (props to the bartender).
When we came in, the first girl dancing had incredibly short hair - not quite shaved, but damn near, and was wearing dancing/ballet-type slippers. She was cute enough, especially for those who like short hair, but not very personable or into it - at least, it didn't seem like she was. The second dancer was very fit and acrobatic, with a great smile, and was very interactive and friendly - she also possibly didn't wear deodorant, and was a bit musky in a very erotic way. The last dancer had a haircut straight out of the 80s and was as flexible as a contortionist - she was a lot of fun to watch and had a soft looking (in a good way) body. She was quiet but also seemed into it.
Overall, Lucky Devil is worth a stop for sure, and we'll be back, it's a classic Portland place with no contact but for friendliness and value and sort of a counter-culture vibe, it's great.
