How lucky can you get?

It had been a couple of years since I’d been here because this place was lame. Not anymore.

I was passing by early evening and had time before an appointment. Decided to stop just to fill the gap.

It looks like it’s going to be very much the same. I’d paid the cover ($10? $15?) and walked in to a big, empty stage. I know this routine. They’re going to force some mediocre dancer out of the back and onto the stage. She’s going to strip down to nothing and give me that: Exactly nothing. She’s going to flabby or strung out or just disinterested. Probably all of the above. And her set is going to be five or seven songs. Forever.
