New stage same dancers
To start with, I have been to this club several times in the past and the last few times I have left vowing to never return but it has happened once again. I left the club up the road not fully satisfied with the way my night had turned out and somehow found my vehicle turning into Dolls parking lot. The sign said “under new management” so I thought why not?!?! May have changed for the better. The only changes that I noticed was the fact that they had elongated the stage through the center of the room and it didn’t appear to be as dark as it used to be in the main area. There used to be one large stage to the left as you entered and one tiny little stage to the right, I refer to the previous tiny stage as an island stage and I don’t think I had even witnessed any dancers using it during all of my previous stops here. Now they have constructed a catwalk like stage that connects those two original stages, they had some bars above this catwalk stage and a hoop for the dancers to use to showcase their moves. The stage certainly looks more entertaining but unfortunately the dancers did not.
As I walked in and took a few seconds to analyze the new layout, I headed to the bar to grab a beer. The beer price seems to have not changed under the new management or the upgraded stage, it was $7. I found myself a table and within 20 seconds of sitting down I was approached by a larger than my preference dancer who just sat down at my table and was followed directly by a waitress who was asking me to buy her a drink. I declined politely and the dancer got up and walked away. The waitress though remained standing at my table and after the dancer left she asked me if I was looking for something or someone particular. I told her that I had just arrived and wanted to take in the stage show for a little and she left.
I watched a few dancers perform on the stage as I finished my beer and ordered a second from the waitress. I was them approached by another dancer who came over and began running my shoulders and asking me if I wanted company, unfortunately she was far from being my type either so once again I declined.
I finished my second beer and decide to call it a night as I was not finding anyone there to be my type. I was in the club for about 45 minutes and there were two to three tables with patrons other than me the whole time I was there. I’m not sure this place will make it for the long haul. In my opinion they need to find a way to attract some better talent who can hopefully attract more customers.
