Maybe it was the low expectations
Maybe it was the low expectations but I was pleasantly surprised by this bar. I was driving home from upstate New York and thought I would break up the drive coming down the NE extension but I didn't want to get too far off my route and it was between here and Platinum. I'd been to Platinum before and that place is the ultimate rip off but thats a different review.
So you turn down a side street into a semi residential neighborhood the place is big and well advertised. You park and enter and on side through a set of doors that beep twice like at a convenience store. You get patted down but there was no cover and there is smoking in the bar.
Usually I don't know why we describe the layout of these bars considering 98% of them are the same concept with different geometric shape but this one deserves its own paragraph. The entire room is more less a giant square broken into 4 quadrants separated by an internal wall. From the door where you walk in there is a pool table on your left and a seating area with cafe tables on your right then in the back left portion there is the bar and to the right is the stage which are both on the same wall. I'm probably doing a bad job explaining but the main point is that if you sit at the bar you to turn to the right and watch the stage thru all the patrons sitting next to you or you have to take your drink out to like the entrance/pool area.
