Early Saturday afternoon is not a good time to go

I was staying by the airport and had a little time to kill before driving out of town so I decided to stop in and check out the club around 1pm. I figured this would be hit or miss and it turned out to be a definite miss.

The layout stuff: mandatory $7 valet parking even at a time when it was dead. No big deal, since it basically served as a cover charge. Once inside, you head immediately upstairs (which took me a second to figure out in the empty entrance way). Upstairs it's a large open area with a bar on the left, a long stage running from left to right down the middle, booths along the walls and small tables between the booths and the stage.

At this time of day there were four dancers working and maybe half a dozen PLs. Of these, two were sitting with regulars from the moment I walked in (OK one was on stage and went straight to a booth when she got off). A third came over to me after I'd been sitting at the bar for a while. But then, about two minutes into our conversation, a regular of hers arrived and she excused herself to go sit with him. (I didn't think she was particularly attractive so I didn't really mind but that seems like a poor way to build business. But hey, maybe that guy is guaranteed $$$ for her.) The last dancer was alone but never so much as looked in my direction. So needless to say I didn't end up staying long and ended up on the road even sooner than I needed to with plenty of money still in my pocket.
