Dave usually in Phoenix, exploring Frankfort for 10 days

From my long travelog! that includes travel stuff, other FKKs and Massage Parlors - still not done in Frankfurt another few days.

Am considering going to FKK Oase on their 7:45 $5 fare shuttle from Festhalle / Messe but it is starting to rain, and my radar app shows it may get worse. Thanks to friend Hank's suggestions who has been to Germany a few times, I had bought a rain jacket with a hood. I had been by the Festhalle a few times when returning to the hotel, and it seems enormous. I called Oase asking where at Festhalle the van would be. She said it has a big main entrance. I decide to go, and the rain hood keeps the rain from blowing into my face. I know the shortcut is via Skyline Plaza, so I leave in lots of time and have a Pizza on the way.

It is a relatively long walk, and the first Festhalle sign I see is a massive kind of round building with a huge sign that says something, not Festhalle Messe. About a block further another Festhalle sign pointing to an area that is fenced off - an older building with the sign seemingly aimed to it from what I found on their website the picture is of the older building -that I cannot get to. Ask a passing guy who says it is closed and was also confused how to get into it to meet a pickup there. Ask two Chinese women walking by, and one has excellent English and says go around the outside fence and go to the right will take you in. But this gets me to the big circular building that says something else on it and leads me just to a dead end with the fencing around what I think is Festhalle. Then I go back to the front of the circular building and see the sign pointing kind of towards it saying Festhalle. But that is not what the huge sign across the building says. Looks like some Museum which is closed. Walking further, I find what looks like the ticket office to Festhalle. In the street in front, there were bus stops, etc. I had no idea if this was the right place or not but turned out it was as the Oase Van pulled up with 5 Chinese guys and I had the last seat. However, they were returning and got off at the train station stop.
