Just not the same

So, as I've mentioned in my previous reviews, my friend was in town and he was hoping to check out Hi-Liter again since he had a really good time the last time he was here. I've mentioned that things have change but he wasn't having it. This was Saturday night during Memorial Day weekend, our first stop was Hi-Liter. Parking lot wasn’t extremely full at all, got the spot that’s closest to the back/side building. Bouncer saw us in the parking lot and was already radioing it in “party of 2” They are scanning ID which really suck but whatever. The other bouncer seems to recognize me, so he didn’t pat me down. Paid the cashier for cover $8 each I believe while I was waiting for my friend to get patted down.

Once inside, I can tell it wasn’t full but still somewhat crowded. Bouncer show us to a table, and I tipped in a few bucks since it’s been a while. Waitress was quick to get our drinks, which I like. Drinks aren’t exactly cheap but your typical price. Two drinks turn out to be 20 something (sorry forgot the exact amount) I reminded to my friend that dances on the floor is $10 each, and $15 on the chairs by the wall. VIP is $25 each.
