Very late Monday night

I’ve been going to Denver clubs for over a decade. There was a time that I was more interested in dive-ier, higher-contact clubs like PT’s Centerfolds (on Galena), PT’s World Famous (on Evan) or Mile High (formally Penthouse). However, I started getting heavily involved in the sugaring scene several years ago and, these days, I’m more interested in spur-of-the-moment fun where I can get a drink and experience the best -looking dancers in the metro area. I’ve been clubbing less often, and I prefer the top three clubs in Denver -- which would be Diamond, Shotgun’s, and La Boheme (of course this is just my opinion).

I arrived at almost midnight and spent about 1.5hrs in the club. Late at night I prefer valet parking which is $10+tip. I’m often in this lower downtown location in the daytime and it’s easier to take the light rail and get off at Colfax; the club is about half-mile from the station.

Note: As far as I know, all Denver clubs are scanning IDs. I don’t like the practice one bit, but I’ve never experienced any issues.
