After a disappointing stop earlier at a former favorite SC I thought I'd try again here. I've been here a number of times in the past and in general I'd say have had a mix of meh and good experiences. This night was more on along the former. The first issue was given it was a holiday they were pushing 6 month memberships. $40 for a 6 month membership with access to special events (porn star nights) or $30 (instead of $20) to get in for the night only. That should have been the red flag for me there but I didn't want to drive to yet a 3rd club. I confirmed the juice bar remained free/unlimited with my $30 and reluctantly paid the doorman/cashier. Inside the décor was about how I remembered it--cheesy Buca di Beppo-ish. There were probably 15 customers in the place and half that number of dancers. There were also 3 bartenders, 2 of whom were by far the best looking. Hustle was more akin to the "do you wanna dance" approach. I was approached by a thin, white dancer named "December" who was friendly and told me there was an all night special which was 3 dances for the price of 1 and that I didn't need to wait for the blue light to go on to get that. (Didn't remember the blue light from previous visits.) She was nice enough when I told her that I had just gotten there and I'd rate her a 5. There was one I'd rate a 6.5 who was named "Raven." She had a few extra pounds around the mid-section but I still was considering getting some dances with her. However, she did a stage show and during the show proceeded to eat two (2) slices of pizza on stage as she was dancing. The DJ thought it was just great and kept encouraging her and giving a play by play with each bite. For me, complete turn off. Who wants to dance from someone who just horked down 2 pieces of pizza during her pole show? The other odd thing was these balloon dances. You could pay $20 for a balloon and a waitress who sit on the balloon resting on your lap until it popped. But, you couldn't touch the dancers and it was in the main stage area. I saw quite a few of those from a distance. Totally did understand that other than the dancers were very unattractive compared to the waitresses and the PL's were so desperate that they chose to pay 2x the dance rate to have a balloon popped on their lap. After 45 mins I decided to head out. My only other comment is that I'm a water drinker primarily. While the water with ice is free they also sell bottled water for $5. After my 2nd refill (where I tipped the waitress $1 each time) she asked "why don't you just buy a bottle of water?" I don't know, maybe it's me. Was there about 45 mins in all and would rate the trip as "meh" at best this time.
