First Time, Long Time

I hadn't been to Jaguars in several years so decided to make another stop on a recent Saturday night. I arrived around 10pm, kind of a sketchy neighborhood, but they've got a big well lit parking lot and they had a couple of security guards trolling around so I felt safe. ID scan and pat down at the door. I don't recall the exact cover charge, but it was somewhere around $10.

As I enter the main area, I immediately had a bouncer approach me about a table, he said it was no charge but he would appreciate a tip. The club was half empty at that point so that seemed a bit ridiculous, I told him I wanted to hang at the bar for a bit first. The main stage is straight ahead as you enter, they had a DJ on the stage spinning some hip hop and 2 dancers at a time rotating on that stage, the dancers would then rotate around to each of the 4 smaller satellite stages around the room. So each girl was doing a rotation of 6 songs on one stage or another.

Lots of tables here, they filled up pretty quickly after I arrived. The crowd was mostly latino, some black, not many white people, mostly younger, lots of groups, lots of couples, it honestly had more of a night club vibe to it than a strip club vibe. I swear I may have been the oldest person in the club and I'm no senior citizen. Waitstaff was plentiful, they also had shot girls roaming about. I also noted several hookah pipes/vases throughout the room if you're into that type of thing. A bottle of Bud Light ran $5.25.
