(Temporarily?) Closed

I was at the Hustler club down the street, planning to possibly check out Scarlett's later in the evening, when one of the dancers there said that Scarlett's had closed. Apparently a week or so ago they had a (roof?) fire. The Hustler dancer suggested that many of the former Scarlett's dancers had at least tried to get work at Hustler. I haven't been to either enough times to tell how many might have been hired on, but in a couple of hours there on a Saturday around midnight I didn't see any that I recognized from previous trips to Scarlett's.

I drove past out of curiosity (and perhaps a bit of skepticism for a dancer's story) and indeed the place is dark and closed. It's set back far enough from the street that I couldn't really tell the extent of the damage. There's at least a a building still there. The sign out front says "Remodeling". The driveway was blocked by parked trucks and there was a guy standing there looking, unsurprisingly, bored. I didn't stop to chat. This suggests the place will reopen at some point, but hard to say when. Their website doesn't say anything about it.

The form required a selection for the numerical values on the review. Without an "n/a" option, I just set them to 5.
