Pretty decent Denver option

Finished up a meeting early than anticipated on a Wednesday night and decided not to go straight back to the hotel in downtown. Checked on TUSCL and found this club which was sort of close to where I was with decent reviews. I've been to a few other Denver options and found none of them terribly impressive and was willing to give a different club a try.

This club is north of downtown up I-25 and then a few miles west on 84th Avenue which explains where the 84 in the name comes from. As my GPS told me I was approaching the side street to turn on, I saw the sign in front of a really small office/retail complex. At this point I saw an open sign and I thought it was the place and it looked small and dumpy and I honestly was going to abort the mission. Luckily I was just confused and I was looking at Massage 84 which is not the same thing. Platinum 84 is in a larger stand alone building down Umatilla St. just a block or so north of 84th.

There was plenty of parking and cover was $5. The club is large inside and there was lots of seating when I arrived around 7:30pm. There were two stages, a smaller one near the entrance and a larger one near the center of the club. A dancer would also dance on the bar top where there was also a pole. I took a seat near the main stage and settled in. Within a couple of songs, I was approached by a waitress who then brought me a beer. After the woman on the main stage finished up there weren't anymore dancers at this location for awhile but dancers continued to occupy the smaller stage and the bar stage. Later in the night the main stage was constantly occupied. The dancer options were decent, nobody really caught my eye by this point but there was enough promise for me to stick around.
