I thought this place had closed.

I thought this place had closed (which might explain why there aren't any reviews). Even when I knew it was open, there were times I would drive by at what I thought were prime times (e.g., Friday night) and it would be closed tight.There is a sign out front that it is under new ownership. My recollection is that the old ownership kept this place more like a local dive bar with a small number of dancers. Well, this is like a local dive bar that's been refurbished, with a small number of dancers.

The area: this is near a hospital, and usually you can park on the street. Given the hospital, I doubt it is the most dangerous place in Paterson, but it is Paterson. There are two other clubs on the same street--one a minute away, and another a bit further.

The club: it looks like the new owners spent a bit of money (not much, but some) refurbishing it, so it doesn't look skeevy. It is small. The bathroom looked okay. An American beer was $5.
