Not what I expected...

Preliminaries:

I’ll start with the location. As the address says it is right across the street from the Pike Place market. I’m pointing out the trivial because there are two Wells Fargo ATMs almost outside the door. The stamp on my wrist allowed multiple entries after I paid the cover (which was high: $15). I assumed the ATM fee would be higher in the club so I simply left, pulled out some cash, and re-entered. Normally, I don’t care much about trivial amounts of money (e.g., a $10 or even $20 ATM fee vs a $5 one) but ATM fees just irritate me. But using the out of club ATM was so easy that I was able to avoid using the club ATM: just as fast as getting money in the club and I (hopefully) avoided the in club fee.

Now the entrance layout. The club is up a flight of stairs. As you enter the person collecting the cover is to the right. Just before him is a club ATM, also on the right (I’ll get to the VIP room later, but note that the club has a second ATM as you enter the VIP room). Note that he give me $5 as change, but not in $1’s. After entering briefly I went back to him and asked to split a $20 (because I only had three $1’s in my wallet) and he told me to find the waitress. Note that the waitress only came out later.
