It's Blazing Amazing
My strip clubbing has largely fallen by the wayside these past few months due to life issues and other stuff. I had an itch to get back to visiting clubs and writing reviews. Did a little club hopping on the days of Wednesday May 8th and Thursday May 9th. I visited Blaze that Wednesday and The Office (bka Foxy Lady) and Babes on Thursday. First up is Blaze.
The club is located in a somewhat industrial section of Moreland Ave. Parking and cover is free during the day until 7:00. I arrived around 3:00 in the afternoon and stayed until around 7:00. The layout hasn’t changed at all since my last review with the exception of a couple of high top tables in the first immediate booth on the right upon entry. The upper level is more of a party atmosphere and the lower level is more of a relaxed atmosphere with a slightly greater chance of better dance mileage. I usually spend most of my time and money downstairs on the lower level.
The music is mostly rap and the songs were OK. Not quite full length on some of them but not terribly short neither. The DJ also didn’t speak much but like most DJ’s in black clubs he would chastise those that weren’t tipping the dancers on stage. Not obnoxious and rarely stopped the music other than the occasional tip reminder.
