It was in The Wire, so it had to be good right?

I was in town for work, and figured my Monday could use a pick me up, especially for half off! I pulled up in front of Ritz’s around 8 pm and I was in luck, I found street parking right in front, no charge since the meters don’t run that late.

A quick pat down and no cover for military, sweet!

The thing that struck me most was how small this place was. Ok maybe not small, but skinny. Couldn’t have been more than 25-30 feet across but it went way back and had two floors. The bar was right up front and I ordered a beer for $4. The stage was against the right wall with seating along the left. I sat down and really just took in the show for a few hours. There was a good mix of talent, lots of ethnicities and body types. The thing I liked was that they were entertainers who actually worked the pole. There were very few girls who simply relied on their ‘assets’ to entertain which pleasantly surprised me (not that I’m against being entertained by ‘assets’).
