I was in Joliet on a Friday night, so I went to check out The Cellar about 22:30. The club is located on a lonely stretch of road near some junkyards. The first thing I noticed was the parking lot was quite empty. The gentlemen’s club is in the cellar of the building; you have to walk down a half flight of stairs to enter. I wonder what is in the upper floor of the building? There was a $5 cover and a sign stating there was a two drink minimum. Sincweisers were $5. There were two fat, ugly bartenders who kept trying to flirt with me when they were not giving me the full-court press to keep buying another drink. The Cellar was as dead as a doornail on prime time Friday night. There were a total of four dancers, four staff members, and four customers. Dancers do not strip off anything. They must stay in bikinis at minimum.
