Mediocre lineup

I arrived on a Saturday around 10pm. Cover charge for just this club was $10. For $15 I got a wristband to come and go between both this club and Deja Vu next door. They forced me to check my (zip up) sweatshirt. This is apparently a growing trend, which is irritating because clubs are often cold. She said it was a security thing. I offered to have it searched and get patted down. Then she just said it wasn't up to her. So I checked my sweatshirt. When I arrived there was no line at all, though a decent number of people inside. By midnight or so, there was a bit of a backup at the door and they were patting people down.

Seats were available until around midnight. After that, you could still get a seat right at the stage, but the others were basically filled up. Service was good, with a number of waitresses working the room. My water was only $2 and one dancer drink I bought (a long island, I think) was $7.

The collection of performers this night was pretty disappointing. There was some decent variety in skin color, but almost all of them were significantly unfit, with extra weight in bellies rather than curves. A couple were quite heavy. There was one athletic black dancer with amazing legs and ass. Her friend/partner wasn't quite as tight but still cute. Most of the others were mediocre at best. The stage performance was, likewise, lackluster this evening.
