Better than expected!

I was in Atlanta for work all week and had never been to Follies before so I thought I'd try it out. I arrived a little after noon on a recent Thursday. I was early enough that the valet wasn't set up yet. I walked in the front door and the lady checks my ID and waves me in. I was shocked that there was no cover charge or drink minimum, but I wasn't going to complain either.

I've read the reviews on here before, so I knew that it was going to be dark inside, but for a first-timer, there's no preparing your eyes to the contrast of darkness. I walked in and was immediately hit up by some dancers but I couldn't tell if they were to my liking or not so I told them that I'm trying to let my eyes adjust and to come back later. I've also read that the tables along the walls were the best seats, but all of those were taken. The odd thing to me is that not a single person was sitting in any of the lower tables between the hi-tops and the bar. Why is that? Is there something wrong with those? Instead, people were standing along the walls or in the aisles. Not to break trend, I did the same lol. This seemed to be good for traffic flow and access to the dancers walking back and forth between the two sides of the club.

Once my eyes began to adjust, I quickly realized that there were many more attractive dancers here than I was expecting. I really didn't know what to expect other than a lot of Cubans, but honestly, my expectations weren't too high for quality of dancers. Don't get me wrong, Cheetah has far hotter girls, but there were plenty here that caught my attention. It was hard for me to tell if the dancers coming up to me were attractive (pretty face, nice body, etc.) because its so dark and they don't really dance on the poles, at least not while I was there, and the club itself is small so there's not a lot of room to scope out the different girls. I did see two girls on the poles, one was a little thicker than I like but the other caught my attention immediately. Tall blonde with a tight body. She had a lot of piercings too. She said she was from GA. Maybe she's one of the Griffin girls I've seen mentioned on here?
