So-so after work relaxation

Got off of work a bit early and decided to relax at the club a bit. Centerfolds has been my go-to place, mostly because of the convenience, but I realize I need to stretch out a bit more and explore. The place is clean-ish and the cover charge isn’t bad on a Thursday afternoon around 4 pm ($5) and happy hour beers run you $4.

Despite there being 3 stages (1 main and 2 platform-style) and about 10 girls hovering about, only the main stage was in use, and even then, there was much to report. The girls were clearly bored and low on energy, and the fact that they weren’t getting tipped on stage by anyone but me only made things worse. There rest of the girls hovered around the bar, or sat in chairs browsing their phones, or chatted with each other in the corner. The whole atmosphere felt more like a regular bar, just with more skin.

I ended up getting a dance in the corner, and the dance was as forgettable as the dancer. Maybe it was just the vibe I was giving off, but the girl was clearly distracted, glancing about the bar as if looking for a friend. Now $20 poorer, I finished my drink and headed for the door.
