Enjoyable First Visit

I had a little bit of time to kill on a Sunday afternoon, so I decided to visit Johnny A’s Hitching Post. Not having been here before, I decided it was time to check it out.

I arrived around 3:30 in the afternoon. The parking lot in front of the building was full. There was some additional parking across Canal Street near the side of the building. Some other customers who arrived at about the same time as me parked there and so did I.

As I entered the building I noticed that most seats at the bar were taken. It was surprisingly busy for a Sunday afternoon. I managed to find a seat at the bar and one of the two busy bartenders took my drink order.
