Foolin' at RAB on April Fool's Day

Just happened to have the time, so made my way out to RAB where I hadn't been in almost 2 years. Much as I remembered it, except that at 5:00 there was quite a bit of life. Met Lilly, the youngest of the lot who, after asking immediately if I was married., haha, grabbed my phone and put her number into it. I texted later that night, have never heard back, but thought the whole exchange was funny. The party gild of the day was Carmela who, wearing a tiara, paraded around announcing her birthday was coming in the following week. As soon as I said hello she pointed to younger, BUSTIER Denise ( with a charming Polish accent) and let me know they do doubles.

There is also an oriental lady, Kayle (?) who just appeared to really, really not want to be there. So much so a fellow patron a few stools down actually leaned over and said " She should quit, so she can stop hating herself". You'll know her by, in addition, the fact she lifts her hands defensively and takes the tip from you.

Was ultimately talked into a dance with Denise and Carmella, and it was here the master-plan was revealed: Carmella is the showman, the huckster, and Dense is the midway attraction inside the tent! Once behind the curtain, Carmella directed Denise onto my lap, and stood to the side, directing the ( little there was ) action. Attempts to involve her equally were thwarted in that "twisting out of reach" move we're all too familiar with. I wasn't mad, more amused, and worked to get Carmella on my lap as well, but more comically than anything else. If I had gone in expecting double extras servicing I would have been really mad, but as it was it was a one dance romp and it was novel enough that I laughed. Denise, on her own, would be a good dance, but don't know how far. Carmella, as she later said, really only wan't to give massages ( read: really doesn't want to be here but can hustle more $$ at this bar than at Panera Bread).
