Completely underwhelmed by first Follies visit

I have heard and read so much about Follies that I just had to check it out. I was in Atlanta on business a couple of weeks ago and had a Sunday off so I made my way to Follies around 4:00 pm thinking that I would stay for a couple of hours and enjoy the vibe and the women.

Maybe I went on a bad day but it was probably the worst strip club experience I had in the last 10 years. First off it was packed when I got there so I wound up standing around by the large stage for almost an hour. When I finally did get a seat there were so many guys standing around as well that I couldn't see anything. My modus operandi is to have a drink and mellow for a half hour or so and get a good look at the girls. I will give Follies credit for having a whole lot of girls there but it seems that most of them stick to one side or the other so to get a good evaluation I had to cruise both sides.

I did finally get a lap dance with a Cuban girl who was very cute and perky but it became pretty obvious that her bottoms were never coming off so I called it after 3 dances. It was also very weird to be so close to other guys while the lap dance was going on. I completely prefer a more private space. I did get a final dance with a AA girl who was very nice but the close quarters killed the vibe for me. I suppose i could have taken her to the curtained off area but I'm not an extras guy so I didn't think there was any point.

Anyway, I went to see what it was like but I don't think I will be coming back any time soon.
