This is the trip that about sent me into semi-retirement. First visit here (it got a second look and the reviews are still rolling so no rocking chair yet). Arrived after leaving the Jet Strip completely blown by the utter misery that was that "club". Yeah, I suppose it's not as bad as all that most days (though JS certainly was the day I dropped by)--but on the weeknight I rolled in HT didn't fare much better. This place gets spared a 3 and below because the girls did try and at least make it interesting. By heading to City of Industry I was going in the wrong direction--and with a long drive ahead I wanted to sample and run. The center stage can be seen from just about any seat since it is raised, and the dancers were accessible. Things that surprised me - the place didn't look like a total dive, the girls were much better looking on the whole than expected (one brunette on stage name number four was magazine material), and the hustle factor while there was not as bad as expected. The higher reviews of late reflect an upswing I suppose. In any case, if the place seemed better than expected why the low rating and intro? Try a rail thin blonde who looked passable in her outfit but turned into skin and bones in the back, with a hacking cough like she was carrying the plague. Thirty seconds in and I didn't want to breathe the same air. Got what was billed but wished I hadn't. Lesson learned, and the second visit had a better outcome.
