2nd Trip

Had nothing going on this Saturday and some money to spend so took the trip down to Fayetteville to Misty's @ DHP. This trip was a different than the last. When I pulled into the parking lot at 3:30pm the lot was pretty much full, last time it had maybe 7 cars. Walked in and surveyed the bar and every seat was taken. So stood down at the end and bought a beer until a seat opened up. Place had a better vibe and with more dancers they seemed friendlier and more willing to talk with non-regulars.

The place remains the same its is kind of dump and more a music venue than a strip club. It is smokey as hell and at least 70% of the people there were regulars and it is more of their neighborhood dive bar than a strip club. The bathroom at this place is fucking gross, there was piss all over the floor and there are never any paper towels in the dispenser. I don't ask much as far as a bathroom but maybe mopping up the piss on the floor and putting a roll of paper towels in the dispenser would give the patrons some incentive to not piss all over the place. Bartender Judy was friendly but actually pretty busy, and the owner Misty was there for a while before they start closing up and switching to a movie venue.

Apart from the regulars drinking at the bar, there were band members who were hanging around on the couches near the stripper pole. Seems like the moved the couches from the far end of the bar over to the stage/pole area. There was also a dog in the place for a while that was another first.
