A short review of a short visit

Be wordy? This was a 20 minute visit. Entered mid afternoon. Busy but not packed. Somewhere between 5 and 10 dancers, all African American but in a large variety of shapes and sizes. Someone (pricey) I'd met before was dancing, who same me, smiled and waved. I smiled back. Took a seat. In less time than it took for my beer to arrive, a young, curvy dancer, who called herself Ivy, introduced herself. Not my usual type but she had a good personality and I wanted to avoid the dancer on stage. After some predictable conversation, we went to the public room where she sang a good rendition of 'She's always a woman' that didn't last long. After two dances, we returned to the relative daylight. Paid. The one I was half-trying to avoid was with some other dude. Returned to stool. Two swigs of beer and headed out into the daylight. Mission accomplished.
