Better than a year ago, but worse than the old VIPS

You can check my history VIPs used to be one of my favorite clubs to go to on a weekend night. You would have 20-30 girls brought in from NYC, 3 hot bartenders, and pretty lax rules in the VIP and LD area. Then they changed the club name and shit hit the fan. They glammed the place up with bouncers at the front door checking ID, a guy checking time at the LD door, and anal managers keeping time in the LD area.

Well I visited recently and it looks like they relaxed a bit on format since they changed the club name. They got rid of the bouncers and the dollar parade to talk to dancers is back. They also seem to be throwing the weekly parties that were popular in the past. However, they still have the manager keeping an eye on things and the guy checking time in the LD area. What kills the vibe is a lot of the customers have fled. Back in the day this place was like walking into a party. This place always had 40 customers and 25 girls circulating. Now it's 12 customers and 25 girls. Now to an average guy this ratio sounds great, but too many girls can ruin your night as they will get to clingy which is exactly what happened to me. In the span of 30 minutes I had 8 different women try to get me to buy them a drink and make small talk. In the past, most women would always get distracted by another guy and leave me alone so that I can focus on getting the girl or two's attention that I wanted.

The LD area is also a buzzkill. The timekeeper guy isnt intrusive, but the format and lack of customers makes for a wierd experience. In the past this place had so much business that there would be a line of customers outside of the LD area which was always fun because Id get a 5-10 minute standing grind with the girl I was taking back. Not having a timer also made for high value dances as if you were a regular and tipped well you could spend 20 minutes with your fav in an unrushed experience. My guess is weird rules changes and the opening of Exit 11 have really hurt their business.
