I won't go into more detail about the layout of the club since that's been reviewed to death.

So, I was excited about getting to go to a club in a city where hookers have their own website to advertise on (myredbook.com) Decided not to go there - too scared of vd's.

I stayed at a hotel 2 blocks from the place. Other reviews are extremely correct about it being a shady part of town. Which is odd, because it literally starts on that block. If you go east on Market, there's hardly any of that. But right there is where that stuff starts. I had one guy chase after me for money. Had to scream at him to back off.... 2 blocks from my hotel. :( I had no idea the homelessness/pan handling was so out of control in San Fran.

Anyway, comparing this to my favorite club in New Orleans (Vision's), where I'm from, I have three comments:

1) What the F$&# is up with these outrageous cover charges?!?! Its like $5-$10 in New Orleans. $25 just to get in?!?! I guess its the lack of alchohol so they have to rape you at the door instead???
