A WTF experience

Opening day 2019! After freezing my ass off for a few innings and some casino action, I decided to change things up and try the Coli for some afternoon fun. I have never encountered such a backwards club in my life. Let me explain:

I think I arrived around 6:30 pm. No cover charge. Things looking up. I walked in the club and was impressed. Huge place, bar to the left and in the back on the right. Big stage in the middle. Lots of girls working, a couple of 9's, mostly 7-8's. Two large AA bouncers at entrance. I indicated to one that I wanted a booth and he escorted me in. I immediately noticed that maybe 10% of the booths were occupied, everyone else was at the bars. Upon arriving at the booth, I gave him a $20 and he indicated that the booths were $40. I looked at him and said, really? He didn't back down. I said ok, I'll go sit at the bar. He gave me my $20 back. Now I understood why no one at booths. I found a seat at the front bar and sat down to watch the show.

Tall brunette bartender was very short with me, all business. Bought a drink, lit a cigar, and observed. More and more guys came in, none going to booths due to cover charge. Eventually standing room only at both bars. Shot girls were actually selling shots to guys sitting at the bars because almost no one in booths. I had a great conversation with a shot girl and a blonde bartender to get a feel for wtf was going on. Evidently, ownership mandated the booth fees, making shot selling almost impossible. In addition, bottle service was non-existent, again, due to no one in booths. There were some good food and beer ($5-7) specials going on all night. I stayed until about 10 ish. I was approached by 1 (ONE) girl the entire evening whom was very nice but not my type.
