Decent Entertainers, but no effort

So was heading to ballpark and left GPS at hotel, so I was trying to do it from memory. Got off at wrong exit and passed Risque and kept going to what I thought was Ballpark. Guess on a turn and the next thing I know I was passing a very dark hard to see sign that said Red Raven. What the heck, was getting late so I turned around and decided to try this place. Another typical Philly bar with stage in middle. Dancers danced two songs. After second, they would make their way around to collect tips in the hand while mildly covering their boobs while the next entertainer started. Two songs made it pretty easy to get through the rotation in short amount of time. Unlike some of the other Philly bars, none of the dancers came around on the outside to collect a second tip. At least 3 dancers were sitting on phones, 2 were with customers, 1 playing pool, one on stage and the others in/out of back dressing room. Finally, a well proportioned lady who was a big girl, but not fat, asked if I would like a dance in the closet looking area behind me with a curtain. The area she pointed too looked about the size of an airplane bathroom and your feet stick out from the curtain as I suspected and confirmed when she got someone else to take her up on it. Her solicitation was clear she was not going to be more than a grind, which I hate. Two ladies I was interested in just sat with regulars who were playing pool with the one girl. Someone walked up to the one and they went back to another area that was a penthouse compared to the area behind me. 15-20 minutes later, dude was happy. Approaching dancers is not my thing. You are either interested in me, making money, entertaining, or your not. If your not or don't have the desire to be there, I don't care as you won't be much fun to be around. So I am OK with not approaching dancers even if I find them intriguing. If you happen to be the unicorn I am looking for, maybe I would change my thought process, but I haven't found that golden unicorn yet.

Summary - another cheap place to visit and hang out. The song structure makes it easy to sit through the entire round of dancers working and have at least one drink and not spend $20. The place served its purpose for the evening. I only rated the entertainment a 4. Reason is, while I didn't find any of them working unattractive, they get the low value because most of them were not entertaining. One stage, they walked around and just grabbed tips and went back to seat/phones with little or no interaction. Most gave a thank you, some didn't even bother with that when you gave a tip. So if the entertainers value was solely based on looks, it would be a couple notches higher. However, the lack of patron interaction, especially me as a newbie to this place, drove the overall rating for them down.

Figured out where I messed up on the way back and still stopped off cracker jacks and peanuts before heading back to hotel.
