Everyone has their own taste in writing and reading. I like to have some fun when I do reviews. And it’s a good way to keep a dancer’s name discrete. If you need more info, feel free to PM me. Names changed to protect the not so innocent.
I frequently enjoy taking a trip outer space and I know that Captain goes down smooth, at times I need to change things up. As I sat around weighing out my options, I kept thinking a road trip to the Lone Star State might do me good.
While I was beginning my journey, I took an aisle seat. A refreshment came my way. I received notification that I could upgrade to first class. It’s hard to turn down first class and with my frequent trips I had earned it. I knew the ability to stretch out and relax would relieve some tension so I promptly moved my seat.
At my destination I was asked what I would like to do. I suggested horseback riding at Southfork Ranch. My riding instructor told me she was glad to give me a one on one lesson. I was happy since this palomino that looked to be in the best condition that I could remember. Her muscular flanks where tone as could be expected from a seasoned mare. My instructor look very happy to get back in the saddle a black stallion.
At first we got familiar with our particular steeds. Talking to your horse and grooming them seems to get them into the mood for an enjoyable ride. My riding instructor had an interesting grooming technic. She didn’t use a brush. She just used her hand to prepare the beast. I thought this was a good idea so I did the same. Both animals responded well.
The instructor help me with into saddle and then with my riding helmet. And then we were off to the races. We start out with a nice trot. I looked down and a fairly lush valley layout before me. It must have rained recently because the valley floor was rather wet. The black stallion seemed excited to see the dew on the valley bushes.
My instructor was still petting her ride and seemed enjoy it. A special bond was forming it seemed. Maybe she was preparing us for a gallop. She did double-checked to make sure the saddle with adjusted properly and sat up high for moment before we plunged together into the valley.
The pace of our canter was perfect. We were step in step with each other. As our ride quick end I noticed to huge tumbleweeds bounce by. The ride is very bumpy and we were both grunting as sometimes we were slammed into the saddle. But for the sake of the adventure, it was worth it. We are both really enjoying our time. My previous trip here was more like a mechanical bull, this trip was much more pleasurable for both parties. Not to say I didn’t enjoy the bucking other mechanical bull. But this seemed to flow much more naturally.
As we near the end of our ride my instructor suggested that we sprint back to the stables. I was game and soon the to be used for dashing off together. The clip-ity clop got louder. Both horses neighed and whinnied due to the pace. The palomino reared up. This excited the stallion who sped off to the finish line. The excitement was too much and the mare finished the ride beside the stallion. The two looked exhausted and happy as they nuzzled together in the stables. I think I might have to plan another ride soon.
