Not Really Comfortable

This is a joint. It is a neighborhood joint that happens to have girls dancing (or maybe not dancing). It had a strange feeling to it. It was obvious I was not from the neighborhood. This is a very blue collar bar and girls that cater to those that work hard.

The place was dark and all the customers were at the bar. The bar tender was an older lady that I would not necessarily mess with. She was kind enough, but still I would not mess with her. I sat at the bar and everyone obviously had their regulars. I am fine with that. To be honest, I am not sure I would want a dance from any of them.

They do have a stage, but no one was dancing. So, as I sat at the bar with the others and it was a case of "which one of these is not like the others". Don't get me wrong, there was nothing going on that was wrong. We all sat there, drank our beers and watched TV. It was different.
