Nothing happening at 10pm

I attended the Magic game, and to avoid traffic and a likely long wait and surcharge pricing on Uber, I walked the half mile to Cleo’s. I didn’t feel great on the walk, since it’s kind of going through a sketchy area, but had no issues other than one likely prostitute asking me for money for food while on my walk. She took no for an answer.

When I got to the club, it was a few minutes before 10:00, and the bouncer let me in for no cover because it was before 10. There’s a metal detector. Everyone in the club was black except means the guy fixing lights on the stage.

That’s right...no dancers, just an old white guy on a step ladder on the stage. The bar was open and I got a bottle of water. The bartender girl seemed embarrassed that it was $5. I took a seat and waited while the DJ blasted music and talked loudly, constantly.
