Still Worth the Visit

I'm a big fan of strip clubs in the French Quarter, and I usually stop at the Barely Legal Club when I'm in town. While private dances had previously been topless, they aren't anymore. This being a Monday, I was told that VIP wasn't open (unless you wanted to straight up rent a room) but cover was only $3. I had a few drinks at the bar and enjoyed the surroundings.

I started the night around 9:00pm, but the room wasn't really going until 10:30pm. More dancers filtered in and the place got moving. Several dancers took multiple turns on the pole and while they were all pretty skilled, only one got any sort of audience engagement. I suppose the lack of audience energy was an effect of Monday, but that didn't keep the girls from working the room. I had several great conversations and three led to private dances. Still, not topless unless on the stage, but an enjoyable way to spend the evening.

The atmosphere is inviting. Not deluxe or extravagant, but comfortable. Drink cost is easily visible, well liquor and beer is $8.
