not golden, but still friendly

I had to laugh at the reviewer who said 'Golden Horseshoe, it's more a dingy yellow.' It's true this place is nothing golden or fancy though it can be a chill spot to hang out with mostly friendly dancers.

It's almost like a time warp when you visit the shoe because it feels like this is what a strip club was like in the 80s or early 90s. The bar to the right when you walk in is like a neighborhood bar that seems to always have locals/regulars sitting there. Oddly, the bar faces away from the stage, so you can't watch the stage show from there, but the bartenders are accomodating and you won't blow your wad on drink costs.

The stage can be hit or miss depending on the dancer, but some try to give you a good show and the stage is set up in a way that you can get a really close look if you want. Stage tipping is appreciated and some girls will take off guys' glasses or caps and rub them on themselves before giving them back.
