Mixed Bag, But I Pieced Together a Good Time

This is probably going to be the most difficult review I've written for TUSCL. During my visit, there were serious shortcomings, but also a few bright spots. Suffice it to say, my initial feelings of deep disappointment slowly transformed into acceptance and appreciation for the club as it is.

I arrived just before 5:00 today (Wednesday) and walked into an open room with about five or six other guys, mostly clustered at the bar, the customers and a couple dancers puffing away on cigarettes like chimneys. I order my standard beverage (Budweiser) and surveyed the room, noting three ladies working the floor... let's rate them 2, 6, and 8. The 6 is a social butterfly working the room, and she cheerfully chatted me up for a couple minutes before moving elsewhere, with the 2 awkwardly following up behind her. The 8 was pretty aloof, content to perch on a stool at the far end of the bar. After a single drink, i was just about ready to cut bait and walk away. I slid my empty bottle toward the back of the counter, and the bartender rather promptly materialized with a replacement.

Though initially upset that I was getting suckered into a longer visit, I soon came to appreciate the hospitality. For starters, I didn't realize that I was only charged $2 for my domestic beer because it's Wednesday (I only noted receiving a handful of singles originally). Soon thereafter, the 8 stopped by to say hello and we had a pleasant little conversation. According to her, the quantity and quality of the dancers is highly variable day-to-day. Learning that dances were only 10 bucks a pop before 7 pm, I hastily asked the pretty lady to escort me to the private dance area. I got a really strong lapper, enough to convince me to get a set of three, and I was pleased to learn that hands are allowed to roam most anywhere except for the vag. The dances are topless, but the ladies apparently have to wear pasties... kinda weird, but I didn't have much to complain about.
